This Castle Cove residence — anchored by sweeping water and bush views over Middle Harbour — was reimagined to feel both timeless and luxuriously liveable.
After 12 years in the house, our clients sought a refresh that solved practical challenges — a compact kitchen, an under-used lounge and dining area, and harsh sunlight that left rooms uncomfortable — while creating spaces that felt inviting and easy to live in.
Nature’s palette guided the design, with soft olive greens, warm neutrals, timber and stone layered throughout. A newly installed fireplace now anchors the formal lounge, transforming it into a warm and welcoming hub for family life. The kitchen gained generous storage and a bespoke bar/coffee station, while refined open shelving replaced heavy joinery to create lightness and flow. Breathing new life into the powder room, we minimised waste by reusing the existing kitchen stone benchtop in the powder room. Sentimental pieces, like the family dining table, were lovingly reworked to sit alongside new contemporary selections.
The result is a home that feels calm and timeless — a place of connection, comfort and everyday beauty, where every room now serves an intentional purpose.
